Beach Volleyball
Sun Devil Beach Volleyball began in 2014 and was part of the group of teams to be part of the inaugural NCAA beach season in 2016. The program has gone on to build, leading to a strong 2019 campaign where the Sun Devils had a program record 21 wins. In its short history, beach volleyball has had 9 All-Pac-12 players and four different pairs earn All-Pac-12 Tournament Team selections.
Pairs History
Beach volleyball has had a strong history of pairs with great chemistry.
Kate Baldwin and Samantha Plaster have the most wins for a pair in program history with 44. Behind them, Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette, who played together from 2016-17, had 40 wins. Both duos were named to the Pac-12 All-Tournament Team. Arellano and Follete also earned All-Pac-12 honors during their time.

Academics
The Sun Devils showed off seven Pac-12 All-Academic selections in 2019, three on the first team, one on the second and three on the honorable mention list. The seven honored is a program record.
Facilities
The Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility opened just in time for the 2022 season. Located just east of Farrington Softball Stadium, the facility gives the Sand Devils a true home court advantage with its deep sand. It was designed by Lloyd Sports + Engineering and was built by Woodruff Construction. It has four full courts fit to host NCAA beach volleyball competition. With flexible seating, fans can bring their beach chairs to watch the action. The courts will also be available to host open tournaments, intramural sports and other events and activities.
Student Athlete Development
Arizona State Athletics offers a plethora of opportunities for student-athletes to excel while at ASU and to prepare for career upon graduation. The Office of Student-Athlete Development has 11 full-time employees to assist student-athletes with academics, eligibility and life skills. ASU’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is an organization that enhances the collegiate experience by providing educational, leadership and service opportunities that exemplify and exhibit the spirit and essence of the Sun Devil student-athlete. All activities encompass this vision and help to further maximize human potential in the pursuit of comprehensive excellence.
